Indianapolis, Ind.----The top-ranked Wingate University women's golf team has officially secured its spot in the NCAA Division II Regionals, continuing a historic season for the Bulldogs. Wingate will travel to Cleveland, Tennessee to compete at Cleveland Country Club from May 4-6, as the Bulldogs look to carry their momentum into postseason play.
The regional berth comes after a dominant spring campaign, highlighted by a South Atlantic Conference championship that included both stroke play and match play titles. Wingate has maintained its position as the No. 1 team in NCAA Division II, proving itself as one of the nation's elite programs.
Season highlights
- Wingate won the SAC stroke play portion and swept through match play
- The Bulldogs recorded eight team victories throughout the season

Wingate's selection marks another milestone in what has been the most successful season in program history, as the Bulldogs aim to carry their momentum into the national stage.
