Preseason All-American forward Odell Turner averaged 20 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in Wingate’s opening weekend tournament at Limestone. The All-SAC performer had 22 points and six rebounds against Limestone in the season opener. Turner followed with 18 points and 13 boards against Queens on Saturday.
 
Turner led the Bulldogs with 15.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game last season, leading Wingate to a second place finish in SAC play. The 2009-10 SAC Freshman of the Year averaged 12.1 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in his first year as a Bulldog.
