Freshman Lucia Careaga Herrera finished second in the 2012 Food Lion SAC Tournament, earnning All-Tournament honors. The All-SAC selection capped her week with a final round of one-under par 70.

Careaga Herrera opened with a 78, while following with an 80. Her final-round 70 was the low round of the 2012 SAC Tournament. She poured in five birdies on the day, firing a 33 on the opening nine.
