Wingate, N.C.----The 24th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs stayed unbeaten on the year, prevailing 3-1 against Newberry College in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate won by scores of 25-17, 23-25, 25-18 and 25-15 to improve to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in league play. Newberry falls to 3-3 overall and 0-2 in the SAC.
