Junior outfielder Casey Allison drove in nine runs on the week, including seven RBI in Wingate’s three-game sweep at Tusculum, as the ‘Dogs became the first team since 2003 to sweep a three game series at Tusculum.

Allison started his week by hitting a game-tying two-run homer in the sixth at #9 Mount Olive. He then went two-for-five with a double, two RBI and run scored the game-winning run in the 6-4 win at #13 Tusculum Friday. Allison went four-for-five with a homer, two doubles, four RBI and three runs scored in the 13-10 in game one Saturday, then added an RBI and run scored in the finale as the ‘Dogs won 11-10. Allison went nine-for-24 on the week (.375) with five extra-base hits and five runs scored on the week, as the ‘Dogs played five of their six games against teams in the top 15.
