Wingate senior Lucia Careaga Herrera (Madrid, Spain) finished tied for fifth place at 2015 Hilton Head Lakes Invitational, hosted by Pfeiffer University at the 5,800-yard, par 72 Golf Club at Hilton Head Lakes. Careaga Herrera posted a 153 with a 78 Monday and a team-best 75 Tuesday.

The number 29 Bulldogs shot a 312 Tuesday and a 308 Monday for a two-day total of 620. Wingate finished third, as number 27 UNC Pembroke led wire-to-wire to take the team title with a 606. Number 37 King (Tenn.) was second at 615.
