Wingate freshman high jumper Isaiah Kyle (Morristown, Tenn.) won the men’s high jump in the East Tennessee State Buccaneer Invitational at the Mountain States Health Alliance Athletics Center Saturday. Kyle set an NCAA provisional mark with his triumphant leap of 2.07 meters.

Kyle defeated high jumpers from Coastal Carolina, Carson-Newman, Western Carolina, Charleston Southern, East Tennessee State, Gardner-Webb, Limestone, Charlotte, UNC Pembroke, Milligan, UNC Wilmington and Appalachian State. Kyle and the Bulldogs will venture to the University of Findlay (Friday) and Tiffin University (Saturday) for weekend indoor meets.
