Wingate University junior Connor Kudrick (Spring, Texas) earned SAC Player of the Week honors for his efforts last week. Kudrick went 2-0 at number one doubles and 2-0 at number two singles as the 45th-ranked Bulldogs picked up wins over No. 48 Francis Marion and SAC foe Lincoln Memorial.
Kudrick started his week by teaming with Sebastian Hall (Lorrach, Germany) for an 8-4 win at number one doubles against Francis Marion. He added a 7-5, 7-5 win at two singles in Wingate's 5-4 victory over the 48th-ranked Patriots. Kudrick and Hall opened SAC play with a convincing 8-1 win at number one doubles against LMU. He capped his week with a 6-3, 6-7, 6-4 win at number two singles against the Railsplitters.
Kudrick has a 4-2 record in singles play this season, notching three wins at two singles to go along with a victory at number one singles. Hall and Kudrick are 3-1 at number one doubles this year. The two-time All-SAC selection has posted a 41-8 record in his singles career.
