Wingate freshman high jumper Isaiah Kyle (Morristown, Tenn.) finished third in the men’s high jump at the NCAA Division II indoor national championship meet Saturday in the Robert W. Plaster Center on the campus of Pittsburg State University. Kyle earns first team All-American honors in his first appearances on the national stage.
 
Kyle cleared 2.11 meters to take third place. Kyle started off the meet very solid, clearing the first height on the first attempt and the second on the second attempt. After making a few adjustments on the 2.11 meter (6-11) jump, Kyle cleared the height on the first attempt.
